ACFIC Vice Chairman Fan Youshan visited Finland, Norway and Hungary
FanYoushan, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) led a delegation to visit Finland, Norway and Hungary upon the invitation of the Business Finland, the NHO (the confederation of Norwegian enterprise), and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), from Nov. 8 to Nov.17, 2018.
The visit was aimed at implementing agreed programs by high-level reciprocal visits between China and the three countries, enhancing exchanges with governmental organizations and business chambers and associations, investigating the ongoing status of private enterprises participating in the Belt and Road construction, summarizing successful experience of private enterprises’ overseas investment, and promoting exchanges and cooperation among the young entrepreneurs.

During the visit, Fan had met with Petri Peltonen, Under-Secretary of State with Finland’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, Timo Vuori, Vice President of the Finland Chamber of Commerce, Marja-Leena Rinkineva, Director of Economic Development with the Helsinki Municiple Government, Ole Erik Almlid, Acting Director General of the NHO, István Joó, Deputy State Secretary of Export Development with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Sándor Farkas, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary and Dr. László Parragh, President of the HCCI, to learn about the business environment, investment policy, local industries and government supporting services.
The delegation had signed cooperation memorandums with the NHO and the HCCI respectively to promote a long-term cooperation mechanism under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and to build a platform of practical exchange and cooperation for enterprises by making full use of business chambers.
They also visited Chinese embassies in Finland, Norway and Hungary and discussed and exchanged on mitigating risks and improving conditions for private enterprises to go out.
The delegation also held symposiums on Chinese-funded enterprises in three countries, followed by visiting the factories and companies of the AAVI Technologies Ltd., Huawei Norwegian branch, the Central European Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone Co. Ltd., the Chi-Huang (TCM) Medicine Center and the Express Luck (Caixun) European branch to see how these corporations thrive through making use of the local advantages.
Vice chairman of the ACFIC Chang Zhaohua, also president of the Shanghai MicroPort, joined the delegation and attended the above-mentioned activities.
